HOW TO PLAY
Players compete for bad luck points over the course of multiple rounds. Each round consists of Headline Cards being revealed with each player taking a turn comprised of three phases:
Escape, Hoard, and Quarantine.
REVEALING HEADLINES
Every round begins with the revealing of Headline Cards starting with the Pandemic. A new Headline is drawn every round creating more bad luck every turn whether it be earthquakes, global warming, or crazy family. Twelve Headlines are revealed every game across four, six, or twelve rounds with each Headline representing one of the twelve months of the year. Some Headlines can have devastating effects, but all share one thing in common... they can only be stopped by the powerful effects of toilet paper

ESCAPE PHASE
Players begin their turns by drawing from the Escape Deck. Escape Cards represent where the players escape each month and give players bad luck points depending on what Headline Cards are active. Escape Cards also offer benefits or negatives in later phases.
HOARD PHASE
Players next visit the store to hoard as much as they can by drawing from the Hoard Deck. Hoard cards include all the stereotypical American essentials like frozen dinners, puppies, coffee, psychedelics, guns, and even the most valuable commodity of them all... toilet paper. Many offer additional bad luck points at the end of the game. However, some take away bad luck points so players are encouraged to trade or even steal to survive.

QUARANTINE PHASE
Finally, players end their turns with going into quarantine by drawing from the Quarantine Deck. Inspired by the hundreds of 2020 memes, Quarantine Cards represent the many embarrassing things Americans do to survive when stuck in quarantine. Read out loud for everyone to enjoy a good laugh at your expense while gaining or losing additional bad luck points.

THE PLAYER WITH THE MOST BAD LUCK AT THE END OF THE GAME WINS!
